“We have carefully watched the unfolding political events preceding the 2015 general elections in Nigeria and we feel extremely concerned over the dangerous dimensions introduced to the civil order, the show of desperation and resolution to keep power by all means.”

“We recall that there were general elections in Nigeria in 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 but there was no time we witnessed what we are witnessing today.”

“In the past few months, leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Presidency have sponsored advertorial on national dailies predicting that Gen Muhammadu Buhari will die and wishing him all sorts of evil, including untimely death.”

“The spokesperson of the President Jonathan's 2015 campaign has severely turned into a prophet of doom by prophesying the death and incapacitation of Gen Muhammadu Buhari.”

“They have forged false medical reports claiming that Gen Buhari has a terminal sickness.”
