PDP caretaker chairman hails court ruling sacking Sheriff

Punch reports that the secretary of the committee, Senator Ben Obi, also called on Sheriff's supporters to unite and move the party forward.
Obi said “We expect more positive court rulings in the days ahead in favour of our party. It is time for them to face the truth and retrace their steps.”
Adding that “We believe that truth must be upheld; we want all hands to be on deck to chart the way forward.”
The caretaker committee secretary also described the High court ruling as a welcome development.
An Abuja High court sacked Ali Modu Sheriff as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
