PDP alleges that the DSS boss is a card carrying APC member

They cited incidents in Akwa-Ibom and other PDP states where the Department of State Services (DSS) were used to intimidate and harass party members.

The national working committee of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), yesterday, in their bid to properly x-ray the nation, came up with some disturbing allegations.

A statement purportedly signed by Prince Uche Secondus, the Acting National Chairman of the party, expressed their displeasure at how President Buhari was going about his appointments.

The statement also alleged that Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Alhaji Lawal Musa Daura, is a critical intelligence stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress(APC).

The national working committee also claims Daura is a card carrying member of the APC and was actively involved in the party’s campaigns.

Adding that, in some cases, electoral officers and members of election tribunals were arrested and detained.

They also dealt with internal squabbles in the Ekiti chapter of their party, and resolved that they will only recognise the executive committee led by Chief Idowu Faleye, and also, summoned all parties involved to meet with the party Hierarchy.
