Six members of the Lagos State House of Assembly have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The defection took place on Thursday, February 16, after House Clerk, read a letter to that effect.

The lawmakers are Akeem Bello, Mosunmola Sangodara, Jude Idimogu, Dayo Famakinwa, Oluwa Fatai and Olusola Sokunle.

“APC is better. I don’t know how to appreciate the good work of the governor than to join his party to move the state forward,” Idimogu said.
