The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) in Kogi, has called for the sustenance of the democratic legacy of the late Alhaji Abubakar Audu, the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress in the state.

This is contained in statement issued in Lokoja on Saturday by Alhaji Abdanis Ibrahim, the chairman of the conference in Kogi.

He also stated that the late Audu, who he described as a founding father of modern democracy in the state, was on a mission to seek people’s support and become governor to further develop state before he died.

"The death of Audu has introduced an unprecedented and multi-dimensional scenario to Kogi politics.
