President holds secret meeting with Buhari

The night-time meeting was reportedly held inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

President Goodluck Jonathan is said to have held a secret meeting with President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.

It is not clear what discussed during the meeting, which was the third of such since Buhari was declared winner of the March 28 presidential election.

“I heard there was a meeting but I have no idea where or when it held or what was discussed,” Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu said.

The meeting reportedly started at about 9pm and lasted for only 30 minutes.

Jonathan is set to handover to Buhari on May 29, 2015.
