Fela Durotoye to paint houses, give children books in Kaduna as part of social impact campaign

The candidate has announced that social impact projects will form an integral part of his presidential campaign.

Fela Durotoye

The leadership expert disclosed on his Twitter account on Thursday, November 22 that the initiative is an integral part of his presidential campaign.

He promised that his campaign will be characterised by social impact projects that will have meaningful effects on the lives of Nigerians, unlike the campaign strategy of his opponents.

"Our campaign won't be characterized by rallies or rented crowds that look good but leave no effect on the people. Our campaign will focus solely on social impact projects that make a difference in every location we come to, because governance is about making a difference," he said.

The presidential candidate called on Nigerians to donate money, books or buckets of paint to make the initiative a success.

"Social impact is all I've done for 15 years, and I can't pretend to be someone else because I'm running for office," he added.

He had flagged off his presidential campaign in Ajegunle, Lagos on Sunday, November 18, where his initiative fed over 2000 people and provided clothes for 500 street children.
