Oshiomhole alleges that thugs fired shots to disrupt polls

The Edo state Governor also commended INEC for improving its operations.

The APC has urged EFCC, ICPC and other anti-graft agencies to curb the use of stolen public funds to finance elections.

The Governor also alleged that some people snatched card readers from some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Oshiomhole said “I don’t know how that happened because there ought to have been enough security in the polling units.

“At this point, it will be too difficult for one to draw a conclusion because this happened in only one unit of the over 2,000 polling units in the state.”

He however for the ongoing governorship election.

He was especially impressed that INEC allowed voters to cast their votes immediately after their accreditation.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole has also alleged that the jailed underwear bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallabwas registered for the Edo election.
