President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met behind closed doors with the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ize-Iyamu was led to the meeting by Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, who is also the chairman of APC Caretaker Committee.

Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi also accompanied the APC candidate to the villa.

NAN, However, observed that the immediate past National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who is also from Edo, was absence at the meeting.
