Adewumi further warned Nigerians to refrain from making unguarded utterances, noting that some people never see anything good about their country.

Pastor Olusola Adewumi of the Christ Apostolic Miracle Church, Ikole, in Ekiti State, has urged Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s efforts at rebuilding the country.

Adewumi in his sermon on Sunday, said the recent revelation about how prominent members of the past administration misappropriated billions of naira called for concern.

He decried the looting of public funds which ordinarily should have been used for the benefits of every Nigerian.

He urged all Nigerians irrespective of religion affiliation to pray for the present administration to succeed in recovering the looted funds.

"Our prayer is needed for government to succeed in its efforts at rebuilding the nation and save us from various challenges facing us as a nation.

"The actions of the new government has raised the hope of Nigerians and it deserved fervent prayers from Nigerians for God’s guidance" the cleric said.

He urged the people to begin `prophesying’ good things about Nigeria, saying "doing so will bring peace to the land and its inhabitants."
