The Ogun State Governorship Election Tribunal has affirmed the victory of Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun in the April 11, 2015, elections.
Tribunal upholds governor’s election victory
The judgment was delivered by the tribunal today, October 23, in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Amosun’s victory was challenged by opponent and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka.
The tribunal also dismissed Isiaka’s petition saying that it lacked merit.
Amosun contested the elections on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was sworn in for a second term on May 29.
