Embattled PDP chairman, Makarfi still at war
Sheriff also revealed that he has not reached any agreement with the Ahmed Makarfi led committee.

This is coming on the heels of a statement from the Makarfi faction, zoning the PDP chairmanship position to the South-West.
The party also said the peace talks has yielded results, because a member of Sheriff's faction, Buruji Kashamu was in the expanded caucus meeting.
The Makarfi caretaker committee also announced that the PDP national convention will hold in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state on August 17, 2016.
Speaking further on the issue, the Deputy National Chairman of Sheriff’s faction, Cairo Ojougboh, said, “I have the express permission of Sheriff to inform our teeming supporters and PDP faithful nationwide that he has not reached agreement with anybody, neither has he permitted anybody to conclude on any process on his behalf.”
Ali Modu Sheriff also said there is no division in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
