Lagos Governorship aspirant visits Fashola

Fashola had earlier made calls for residents of the state to vote an APC candidate as his successor in order to ensure continuity of projects in the state.

The Lagos Governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday, December 8, paid a visit to GovernorBabatunde Fashola of Lagos State.

The governor was reported to be against the choice of Ambode as a candidate and was said to have given his support to a former Commissioner for Justice in the state, Olasupo Shasore.

The situation reportedly gave rise to a conflict between Fashola and party leader, Bola Tinubu, who was in support of Ambode.
