President Goodluck Jonathan has taken his re-election campaign to Borno State.

Jonathan arrived in the troubled state on Saturday, January 24, and paid a courtesy visit to the Shehu of Borno’s palace.

The President was also hailed by a crowd of supporters upon arrival at the venue of the rally.
Borno has been plagued by Boko Haram attacks and Jonathan had received criticism for staying away from the state until he made a surprise trip to Maiduguri on January 15.
