Following his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, Muhammadu Buhari now faces the challenge of choosing a running mate who will contest alongside him in the presidential elections.

Buhari now faces the challenge of choosing a running mate who will contest alongside him in the presidential elections.

Earlier reports had it that Buhari was considering the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola but concerns over a Muslim-Muslim ticket reportedly led to Fashola being ruled out.

Stakeholders in the APC are said to be conferring on the issue of Buhari’s running mate after a meeting was convened by party leader, Bola Tinubu for that purpose.
