Ben Murray-Bruce unveils Nigeria's first fully electric car

The car, a KIA Soul is fully electric and was brought down specially on the Silverbird Chairman and Senator-elect's request.

Siverbird Chairman and Senator-elect, Ben Murray-Bruce unveiled a first of its kind fully electric vehicle at the Silverbird Man of the Year event held at the Eko Hotels and Suites on May 2nd, 2015.

The car made by Korea's oldest car manufacturer, KIA Motors, under the Soul model is fully electric and was made available on special request from the senator-elect.

He said he intended to stop using fossil fuels altogether and champion a course for renewable, clean energy in the country, starting with the car.

He also demo-ed the car to guests at the event.
