The very popular minister and motivational speaker is said to have died in a small plane crash along with his wife Ruth Ann and several other people on Sunday night, November 9, 2014.

According to The Associated Press, the private jet - a Lear 36 executive, reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahamas Ship yard exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.

The Bahamian aviation ministry confirmed that there were "some fatalities" among the nine people on board. The crash is reported to have killed all nine people on board the plane. Although the identities of the victims are yet to be confirmed, reports suggests that the daughter of the late preacher was killed in the crash.

The cause of the crash was not immediately determined, though there had been heavy rain across the region. A full investigation is expected to begin on Monday.
