Organisers of Africa’s biggest digital awards, GAGE Digital Company today announced the opening of nominations for the 2022 editions of the GAGE Awards.

The 2021 edition was spectacular and wildly successful with Nengi of Big Brother Nigeria fame winning Influencer of the year, Josh2funny won GAGE Star of 2021, Banking App of the year was won by Vbank, MTN won Data Service Provider of 2021, Arise TV won online news platform of 2021, RedTV won web series of the year with The Men’s Club, NdaniTV won content creator platform of the year.

Paystack won Best Digital Financial platform of 2021, skit maker Mr. Macaroni won online Comedian of 2021, Paystack’s Shola Akinlade and Ezra Olubi won the Entrepreneur of the Year, while Fishbone documentary and I said what I said podcast topped their category among other categories.

The GAGE Awards spotlights innovations by brands and individuals in the Nigerian Tech space that excellently and consistently deliver their services to Nigerians annually. The last two editions of the GAGE Awards not only consolidated their effort towards achieving this aim but also provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate those making our lives simpler and better with the use of technology.

This year the Awards will be even more exceptional and refined with an International Tech exhibition themed: CO CREATE 2022, celebrating collaborations that bring great ideas to life. It is a three days event, from the 5th of May to the 7th of May at the Landmark Event centre.

And will attract technology’s brightest minds, tech enthusiasts, VCs and at least 100 Exhibitors showcasing innovative solutions across various industries, from Fintech, Edutech, Media and Entertainment, Health Tech, Agritech, policy makers, software developers etc.
