Operatives of the Department of State Services are also seen around the area with patrol vans, heavy anti-riot gun trucks, and Black Marias.
Bamise had earlier gone missing on Saturday, February 26, 2022, after boarding a BRT bus from Chevron Bus Stop, Lekki, to Oshodi around 7 pm.
Days after her disappearance, she was found dead with her parts missing.
Her gruesome murder sparked outrage on social media as Nigerian youths vowed to embark on a protest on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
The angry youths also demanded justice for Bamise while asking the Lagos State Government to prosecute all the suspects involved in the death of the 22-year-old lady.
However, men of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have been stationed around the Freedom Park, Ojota to monitor the protest and prevent destruction of properties.
Operatives of the Department of State Services are also seen around the area with patrol vans, heavy anti-riot gun trucks, and Black Marias.
Meanwhile, two suspects linked to Bamise’s murder have been arrested.
The Police have also announced the arrest of the driver of the BRT bus Bamise boarded before she was killed.
