Man who raped his daughters says he was only testing his manhood

My wife left me some years ago because of some family issues and relocated to Rivers State. I have been the only one taking care of my daughters. I just wanted to test if my manhood was still functional,” he was quoted to have said.

Punch reports that the middle-aged man who's now in police custody after being arrested by the Akwa Ibom Police Command, was reported by his 13-year-old daughter.

According to a police source, Sunday's daughter reported the illicit affair to the police after the father scolded and beat her up, having suspected a love affair between her and another man.

The suspect, a resident of Oboy Ideng community, was said to have committed the crime in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government area of the state.
