Crazy mother sells her 6-week-old baby to buy her 'dream phone'

The mother said she regretted her action and later confessed to her pastor

Police confirmed the incident and said the suspect later bought a phone with proceeds from the transaction.

Miracle claimed that she opted to sell the infant and give the money to her husband to start a business and blamed her action on the inability of her husband to take care of her and her other children.

“I sold her due to frustration. My husband was just struggling to provide for us.

My friend said that since my husband was not taking care of me, if I did it, I could give the money to my husband to start a business or buy a motorcycle.''

Meanwhile police said they will rescue the baby and charge the mother in court.
