Dare2Dream unveils the best in unforgettable finale

When our friends at Dare2Dream started planning Season 6, we were understandably concerned because of the COVID-19 situation. We have proudly watched them adapt and in a sense, Season 6 has been the first of a brand-new way of conducting talent hunt projects in Nigeria. We are glad we came along on this ride with them and we hope you found the show as amazing as we have.

On Sunday the 16th of August at 5:30 pm on Pop Central Tv Channel 189, we watched with elation as the season came to an end.

29 Dreamers made it into incubation and there they learned content creation, digital skills and how to write their own business plan. The Dare2Dream organizers have always believed that talent must be supported by industry knowledge.

On Wednesday on IG Live, they had the Elimination Battle. All 29 dreamers were gallant warriors who fought with heart but the battle left 14 exceptional ones standing. These ones showed dedication, discipline, commitment and excellence during incubation and we proudly introduce to you them.

In the performing artistes category, we congratulate singers Matthew (@Otormatthew) and Meemah (@meemahjackson), dancers De kingz (@dekingz_official) and Patience (@Pclefdance) and saxophonist Emmanuel (@Emmiesax).

The emerging models were Idris (@amazingdayo), bukunmi (@Oguntoye.Bukunmi) Ezekiel (@Officialzekiel), Rilwan (@Rilwan_km) and Michael (@Kolade_mikael).

The fashion designers to watch out for are Deborah (@O_borbor), Josephine (@Afro_jogurl), Tammytara (@Tarathetailor) and Isaac (@aizyq_).

The Sunday show has been filled with lots of excitement and simply a delight to watch. Who won the wild card? @sophiachizarum_

The Gallant 15 performed a heartwarming rendition of the theme song Within Us.

Did you know that the former BBN housemate, entrepreneur and rising media star Kim Oprah was once a Dreamer too? She was on the show to share her story.

And of course, the three winners for the season were announced.

Congratulations to @meemahjackson (JOS) of the performing artistes category, @rilwan_km (Lagos), model winner and @o_borbor, the winner, fashion design!

We cannot wait to see how far these ones would go. If you missed the incredible Sunday show, watch the replay Wednesday the 19th of August on PopCentral TV Channel 189 at 5:30 pm.

Dare2Dream Season 6 is proudly sponsored by De-Deons, Rexall, Bella Naija, Pulse, Golden Penny and GIZ. Replays are also available on YouTube or Instagram @Dare2Dream NG.
