Nigerians react to Nobel Laureate’s alleged anti-Igbo statements

Soyinka reportedly made the comment on April 29, 2015, while giving a lecture at the Harvard University Hutchins Centre for African & African American Research, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

 

According to reports, Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka has said that Igbos in Nigeria vote with their stomachs.

According to online news platform, The Cable, Soyinka also accused Igbos of being incurably money minded.
