The Publicity Secretary of the chapter, Mr Jacob Ogunseye, made the condemnation in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN)on Saturday in Abuja.

According to the statement, the killings in the state  have continued in spite of  the  efforts of the Federal Government to bring the situation of insecurity under control.

The statement also quoted Mr Ade Omole, a chieftain of the party in the UK, describing  the Zamfara killing as “grossly inhuman and “a deliberate action” aimed  at  undermining the efforts of the present administration to ensure a lasting peace throughout  the country.

”These killings are perpetrated by criminal elements in the country who are trying to undermine the efforts of the Federal Government in curtailing the ravaging activities of the bandits across the country.

“But the proactive actions of security personnel have raised the hope of our people, Nigerians should be resolute and determined,” Omole said

He expressed optimism that such lawlessness would soon be over as the President Buhari-led government would do all within its powers to bring lasting peace the country.

The statement also quoted another APC chieftain in the UK, Mr Joseph Adebola, as saying that the Zamfara and other recent killings in Nigeria were  attempts to bring the country back to where it was a few years ago.

According to him, the plan of those perpetrating the killings is to bring Nigeria back to the former situation where the safety of lives and security was not guaranteed.

“It will be a different ball game, Nigeria will never suffer any loss again. Our security operatives have shown that they have the capacity to contain such situation.

“”opefully the recent military exercise code named Ayem Akpatuma in the region, will curb further criminality within the axis,” Adebola said in the statement.
