Newly appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Tukur Buratai will be spending the Sallah holidays with Nigerian troops in Yobe State, he has revealed.

“I don’t have anything to say for now. I am just a few hours on the job. With time we will be talking some more,” the new Army chief told journalists after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
“I am going to Damaturu to spend the Sallah with our troops there,” Buratai, who is from Borno State, added.
Buhari appointed Buratai, along with the other service chiefs, on Monday, July 13.
