President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed popular journalist, Tolu Ogunlesi as his Special Assistant on New Media.

Ogunlesi has undergone security screening and his appointment will soon be officially announced, according to Premium Times.

His major job will be the running of the Buhari administration’s social media platforms.

Before his appointment, Ogunlesi was a freelance writer and a regular contributor to The Punch Newspapers among other publications.
