Media aide and one of the strongholds of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's office, Sunday Dare will turn 50 on May 29, 2016.

According to information going round, plans are in top gear to celebrate the award winning journalist turned media aide to the National leader of the All Progressive Congress.

It was reliably gathered that come Saturday, May 28, 2016, all roads will lead to Ikoyi Baptist Church, where a thanksgiving service has been scheduled to celebrate the life of the unassuming media expert.

The amiable Dare, who doubles as the Chief of Staff to Asiwaju Tinubu, is expected to be hosted to an exclusive shindig by friends, colleagues, family as well as politicians.

Widely referred to as SD, Dare's 50th birthday soiree has been themed Lets come give thanks for his life."

Born Sunday Akin Dare, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, on May 29, 1966, Dare remains one of Nigeria’s foremost journalists with extensive national and international media experience spanning over 24 years.

Before his current position as one of national leader’s trusted advisers as well as his operational right hand, Dare had transitioned into Communications, Advisory, Governance and Public Policy through his work with the Voice of America, VOA, in Washington DC, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (ICFJ Knight Fellow) and two key Media Advisory and Chief of Staff Roles.
