In the message believed to have been addressed to another APC member, Ajomale urged the party faithful to commiserate with the bereaved leader.
The statement reads:

It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
