Saraki Senate President visits German Senate, House of Reps [PHOTOS]

Nigeria’s Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday, March 7, embarked on a three-day official visit to Germany.

Saraki led a five-man delegation of lawmakers to the Bundesrat, which is the equivalent of House of Representatives in Nigeria.

The Senate President also visited the Bundestag, the German Senate, on Thursday, March 9.

The delegation was received by Bundesrat President and Minister-President of the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate, Ms Malu Dreyer.

The five-man delegation includes Senate Deputy Leader, Bala Ibn Na'allah; Chairman, Foreign Affairs Committee, Monsurat Sunmonu; Chairman, Committee on Power, Enyinnaya Abaribe and Chairman, Committee on Defence, Abubakar Kyari.
