Residents of Sango-Ota and its environs in Ogun have been urged to pay taxes and rates when due to enable government to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

The Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State, Oladele Adeniji, made the call during interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Ota, Ogun on Tuesday.

Adeniji added that such payments would enable the government to provide adequate amenities for the people.

According to him, it is the responsibility of every administration to improve its Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) drive so as to improve the welfare of the citizens.
