Banker reveals how he helps judge manage huge funds

The banker testified before Justice Hakeem Oshodi as a star witness of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Oshodi, who is a staff of Diamond bank, said he always visits Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia’s office located at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos to collect funds meant to be deposited.

The banker also told the court on Monday, November 28, 2016, that he normally splits the funds when it exceeds the legal limit and pays them in part.

According to Punch, Oshodi also admitted to helping the judge get a Bureau De Change operator, Abah Said, whenever she was not okay with Naira payments.

The anti-graft agency arraigned Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Godwin Obla on 30 counts bordering of bribery and fraud.

Justice Oshodi also granted the accused persons bailin the sum of  N20 million, and asked them to deposit their international passports.
