Luxury homes of Diezani Alison-Madueke’s family members uncovered [PHOTOS]

Diezani herself is said to own a luxurious flat in Westminster City and was reportedly trying to buy a home in the Hyde Park area when she was arrested by the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA).

Following allegations of money launderin levelled against former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Pulse has uncovered two luxury homes belonging to members of her family in London.

Diezani herself is said to own a luxurious flat in Westminster City and was reportedly trying to buy a home in the Hyde Park area when she was arrested by the United Kingdom's National Crime Agency (NCA).

Members of the former minister’s family who also own plush London homes include her mother, Beatrice Agama and brother, Doye Agama.

Mrs Agama has a flat in Parkwood Point, St. Edmund's Terrace, St. John's Wood registered in her name while Doye Agama’s home is located in Tavistock Square, Holborn, London.

Online checks showed that a 4 bedroom flat in Parkwood Point was recently rented for £10,400 per month which puts it at a sale value of £3.1 million. Also, a 1 bedroom flat in Tavistock Court was sold earlier this year for £687,500 while a similar property was rented at £1,950 per month.

Alison-Madueke’s mother has also been involved in the case against the former minister as separate sums of £5,000 and $2,000 were seized from her by the NCA as part of its investigations.

Mrs Agama has appeared at the Westminster Magistrates Court in connection with the charges along with one Melanie Spencer who was also arrested.

The former minister has been in the eye of the storm since she was detained by security officials in London on money laundering charges on October 2, 2015.

Alison-Madueke’s home in Maitama, Abuja was also raided by members of Nigeria’sEconomic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) hours after the UK operation.

Unconfirmed reports have it that the former minister is being investigated for allegedly laundering about £13billion from the country’s coffers.

Nigeria’s oil sector, which Diezani was in charge of, has been plagued with massive corruption for many years leading new President, Muhammadu Buhari to take the decision to head the industry himself in order to sanitize it.
