This is contained in a statement by the Media and Communication Consultant of the programme, Owei Lakemfa.
Boroh announced this during a courtesy visit on the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai in Abuja.
He said the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps was helping to train 200 beneficiaries.
He said 441 women under the amnesty programme had been empowered and successfully integrated into the society.
He said the amnesty programme was in its last stage of sustainable integration, a point it needed the support of strategic partners like the army to fully reintegrate the amnesty beneficiaries into society.
According to Boroh, amnesty beneficiaries can also benefit from some paramilitary training that will enable them to provide needed security in places like oil platforms and the coastal areas.
Responding, Buratai recommended the establishment of coastal and border guards to secure coastal areas in the country.
He said the country should establish the guard or a semblance of it and that the beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty programme should play vital roles in it.
