Punch Newspapers reports that the incident was confirmed by the Kogi state PDP spokesperson, Ode Ogunmola.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kogi police command, William Aya, said he has not been informed of the kidnap incident.
This is happening ahead of the governorship election slated to hold on November 21, 2015.
