Osinbajo made the comment on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, while commissioning some roads in Ogun State as part of events in commemoration of its 40th anniversary, Vanguard reports.
“The development of our country should be of utmost importance to all of us. We should continue to proclaim it loud that corruption should not be tolerated,” Osinbajo said.
“We have to keep saying it everywhere that no corrupt person would go scot-free. Whoever is involved and whatever his status is, he must answer for such wrongs done. We have to keep proclaiming that everywhere,” he added.
Osinbajo also recently revealed that some of Nigeria’s elite have been urging President Muhammadu Buhari to reduce the pace of his war against corruption.
