Ex-PDP's spokesman's hope suffers setback as surety withdraws

Usim-Wilson, one of the sureties of Olisa Metuh has withdrawn his decision to stand for the ex-PDP spokesman following his bail.

According to fresh reports, one of Metuh's sureties, Dr Olugbumi Usim-Wilson, has filed an application to withdraw his decision.

Usim-Wilson’s made this known at the resumed trial at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, October 17, 2016 before Justice Okon Abang.

Usim-Wilson prayed the court to remove her name from the list of people standing as sureties to Metuh.

Justice Abang however adjourned the case till October 27, 2016 for hearing of applications.

The EFCC had filed a seven-count charge of criminal breach of trust, corruption and money laundering against Metuh after accusing him of receiving N400m from ex-NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
