After reporting the news that President Jonathan’s former Chief Security Officer-Gordon Obua, was hospitalised, Pulse News decided to investigate further on the matter.
Why Jonathan’s former CSO was hospitalised
You will recall that Governor Ayo Fayose raised an alarm that Obua was not allowed his medications while in detention.

News from our sources, and also, Vanguard Newspapers revealed that he is receiving treatment at the National Hospital, Abuja for the trauma he suffered while in detention.
This was revealed by a close family source.
According to Vanguard Newspapers, a source close to fmr. President Goodluck Jonathan, revealed that Obua was also diabetic and hypertensive.
In his words: “You know that Obua is diabetic and hypertensive. So he suffered from the trauma arising from three days of hunger strike which he embarked upon against his solitary confinement in cubicles underground.”

Fayose said “We read in the newspapers that Obua was denied access to his doctor, lawyer and family members and his lawyer claimed on Sunday that Obua was also denied his medications for hypertension and diabetes. Today,we have heard that Obua fainted yesterday and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment, prompting rumour of his death.”
