‘I’ll expose Buhari’s enemies,’ monarch says

Oba Akiolu also said that he’s not afraid of any human being and would take the necessary steps in due time.

The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu has threatened to expose people who worked against President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari during the recently concluded general elections.

The monarch made the comments on Thursday, May 7, 2015 during a ceremony to mark Governor Babatunde Fashola’s 2900 day in office.

“A lot of things have been happening now. Some people have been telling Buhari all sorts of things. Awujale and I have decided to meet Buhari because Lagos and South West states must benefit from the Buhari administration,” Oba Akiolu said.

“People, who are now telling Buhari all sorts of things, are sycophants. They did not want Buhari to emerge winner in the election. These people know themselves. When it gets to a stage, I will name them one after the other. I am not afraid of human beings,” he added.

Oba Akiolu had also said on Wednesday, May 6, that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Jimi Agbaje, would never be the governor of Lagos State.
