How drunk rating killed 3 people in Ikorodu

The Ghanaian Navy came to the rescue of a Nigerian vessel by arresting the pirates who were preparing to attack it.

A Nigerian Navy rating has been arrested and detained at the Naval base, Ikorodu, for allegedly killing three people.

According to Vanguard Newspapers, he took time out, from his duty post to unwind, and in the process, he got drunk.

Reports say that in his stupor, he started playing with his gun, which went off and shot three people, one of which was a truck driver.

The incident which occurred at 3pm, at Majidun in Ikorodu, was confirmed by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Patricia Amadin.
