Integrity Group says Amaechi’s leadership qualities will guarantee region’s prosperity

Wechie called on politicians in the area to close ranks and rise above selfishness for the progress of the region.

The National Director of Integrity Group, Mr Livingstone Wechie, says the leadership qualities of the Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, is capable of guaranteeing peace and prosperity in the Niger Delta.

Wechie made the Assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja.

The Integrity Group is incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC and therefore, a legal entity.

He said that it was time for the entire South-South region to rally round him in order to tap into the opportunities created by the Muhammad Buhari’s administration.

“You may like or hate Chibuike Amaechi, it does not change the fact that he is the tallest political figure from the South-South currently."

“And it is expected of us to support him to rake all the promises of Buhari for Niger Delta development,’’ Wechie said.

The Integrity Group boss condemned the politics of acrimony and character assassination being used against persons like Amaechi, adding that only collaboration with the minister would attract meaningful development to the area.

According to him, our own son in the Transportation Ministry has distinguished himself as one of the best hands in Buhari’s government.

“ I urge the people of the South-South region to recognise Amaechi as the leader with bold heart and capable of taking Niger Delta to the promised land.
