Pulse earlier reported that the group's website, www.nigerdeltaavengers.com was taken down, as attempts to access it displayed a Google error page.

However, the group has moved from .COM to .ORG - www.nigerdeltaavengers.org. As it seems, the change was the maintenance the group referred to.

READ:

"OUR WEBSITE IS NOT SHUT DOWN IT'S UNDERGOING MAINTENANCE," the group wrote on Twitter.

In the past months, the new militant group has claimed responsibility for the major attacks on oil installations in the Niger Delta region.
