President-elect flies to London 7 days to inauguration

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly travelled to London, seven days before his scheduled inauguration as Nigeria’s next leader.

Buhari is said to have left Nigeria, today, May 22, 2015, on board a British Airways flight, according to Sahara Reporters.

The President-elect’s flight reportedly left the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja this morning at 9:00am.

A family source however reportedly told Sahara Reporters that Buhari would only be away for the weekend and would return on Tuesday, May 26, in time for his swearing-in ceremony on May 29.
