He said the recent comment made by the Managing Director of the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), Babs Omotowa, in a recent interview reveals that the money was from Corporate Income Tax (CIT) paid by Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG)

Investigations reveal that the NLNG boss, told ThisDay Newspapers that “We did not pay the government $1.6 billion dividend but $1.6 billion corporate income and education tax, which is different from dividend. This of course is from our activities in 2014. The payment is for the 2014 accounting year, which ended in December. Of course, the law said that we must make this payment on or before the end of June and we kept to that law because we are a world class company that follows standards and laid down laws.”
