Bakassi Strike Force clash with Niger Delta Avengers

The BSF leader, Simple Benjamin, called on the Federal Government to listen to the agitations of the people of the Niger Delta.

BSF also accused NDA of crippling the nation’s economy, adding that it is cheaper to make peace, and war leads to more destruction.

The Niger Delta Avengers have claimed responsibility for most of the bombings that has taken place in the region.

Two new militants groups, Ultimate Warriors of Niger Delta and undefinedhave also emerged with various demands.

Channels TV reports that the BSF leader, Simple Benjamin, called on the Federal Government to listen to the agitations of the people of the Niger Delta.

Benjamin said this at Esuk Mba community in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State.

The BSF leader also said “Give peace a chance, you have made your point, so give the Federal Government the chance to respond.”

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has slammed the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) for bombing pipelines, calling them criminals.
