It was the same Britain which said it was not going to support Biafra agitators that supported a referendum for Scotland to decide whether they will still remain in the United Kingdom or not.

Sun Newspapers reports that the British High Commission through its Press and Public Affairs officer, Joe Abuku, said “the British government only recognise the (Nigerian) borders laid down at independence and there would be no support for Biafra.”
Reacting to the comment, the Assistant National Director of Information of MASSOB, Sunny Okereafor, said “it was the same Britain which said it was not going to support Biafra agitators that supported a referendum for Scotland to decide whether they will still remain in the United Kingdom or not.”
“Or are they saying what is good for the Irish and Scottish people will not be good for the people of Biafra or is our own different because we are blacks?” Okereafor asked.
