‘Corruption is fighting back,’ Minister says

Mohammed made the comment on Sunday, December 4, while addressing staff of the Nigerian embassy in Abu Dhabi.

According to a statement released by his media aide, Segun Adeyemi  on Monday, Mohammed said:

“Corrupt elements are doing everything possible to obfuscate the good work of the present administration, as a response to the government’s determined fight against corruption.”

“As the government fights corruption, corruption is also fighting back, using even unsuspecting sources. This is the biggest challenge facing the administration at the moment.”

Mohammed however said that the Buhari administration is determined to rid Nigeria of corruption.
