Kana-Mani, who made call at the commemoration of his 25th year as a Bishop in Maiduguri, said Muslims and Christians must assist the president to make the country better.
The bishop appreciated God's divine intervention and prayed for security operatives to succeed in the war against the Boko Haram.
The Bishop declared this year as a year of freedom and liberty.
Kana-Mani said that the war against indiscipline and corruption must be fought by all, saying that corruption was man-made or man-driven.
"The 'sacred cow' syndrome must be totally eliminated, nobody is above the law.
"Therefore, let the president intensify his fight against corruption, while we assured him of our prayer and support," said Kana-Mani.
The bishop also called on Nigerians to be united in support of the Federal Government's war against the Boko Haram insurgents in the North-East.
According to him, living in unity does not mean that we will all agree on everything; Yet, we must agree on our purpose in life to work together for God.
"Our outward expression of unity in diversity is to de-emphasise our differences and build on our togetherness," he said.
