Nigerian Muslims love their Jihad

While they continue to bask in their ignorance their Muslim Brethren in the Middle East have long woken up and now see clearly what these groups are all about and this can be seen in the poll.

ISIS

A recent poll conducted by Pew Research Centre showed Nigeria as the most sympathetic country towards the Islamic State terrorists. And even though local terror group Boko Haram pledged allegiance to Isis, it still comes as a shock in a country split almost evenly between Christians and Muslims and a few traditional worshipers.

It's safe to assume that majority of these people will be Muslims especially from the core North and a few from the South who still see these terrorist groups as advancers of the Islamic faith.

While they continue to bask in their ignorance their Muslim Brethren in the Middle East have long woken up and now see clearly what these groups are all about and this can be seen in the poll.

Jordan had 1%, Turkey 8%, Pakistan the highest with 9% while Lebanon did not favour the group at all. This contrasts with African nations who still believe in the Jihad with Senegal polling 11%, Burkina Faso 8%, and Nigeria the highest with 14%.

This is a case of not knowing what you are wishing for. I bet the IDPs and victims of Boko Haram in the Northeast would not be so sympathetic.
