The Governor of Jigawa state, Badaru Abubakar has been sworn in as the Chairman of the Ondo state All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election committee.

Immediately after the swearing in ceremony, Abubakar spoke to newsmen and assured them that all candidates will be treated fairly.

Following allegations that factions in the Ondo APC have resorted to using diabolic methods to outdo each other, primary election committee chairman said he is not afraid of juju.

Abubakar also said ”Free and fair election will solve the problem. If they believe we are free, fair and transparent, they will accept the result.

”Well in the first place, I don’t believe in juju so certainly I am surely not afraid.

”I don’t know of any imposition, my duty there is to be free, fair and transparent and I think that is the only thing that will help the party.”

Also, the APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu has advised governorship aspirants in Ondo state not to expect any help from Abuja to win the party’s primary elections in the state.
