Govt to distribute solar refrigerators to preserve vaccines
Ipaye said that the development would help to preserve and maintain the potency of the immunisation vaccines as well as boost immunisation coverage across the state.

Dr Babatunde Ipaye, the Commissioner for Health, said this while playing host to the members of Ogun House of Assembly Committee on Health who were on oversight visit to the Ministry.
He said more priority would be given to child health to prevent outbreak of childhood diseases such as polio.
Mr Akinpelu Aina, the House Committee Chairman, urged the ministry to seek for support from philanthropists to complement the state government’s efforts to boost health care delivery.
Aina commended the efforts of the ministry at stamping out quacks in the state.
He called for the upgrading of medical facilities across state government-owned hospitals in the 20 local government areas.
The lawmaker assured the ministry of necessary legislative support, saying that the health of the people was very important.
